As the

Technical Services Manager , you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of complex building services across major construction projects. Reporting to the Project Director, you will manage the coordination, installation, and commissioning of all mechanical and electrical (MandE) services, ensuring integration with the wider construction programme and compliance with client requirements and industry standards.Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the MEP design development and delivery process throughout pre-construction and construction stagesCoordinate MandE subcontractors and consultants to ensure efficient and timely deliveryManage technical submissions, RFIs, and approvals in collaboration with design and site teamsDrive quality assurance, health and safety, and compliance across all building services installationsSupport value engineering initiatives and identify innovative, cost-effective technical solutionsLiaise directly with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and ensure satisfactionOversee commissioning strategy, witnessing, and handover documentation to ensure smooth project completionRequirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a main contractor or MandE subcontractorStrong technical background in mechanical and/or electrical building servicesHNC/HND or Degree qualified in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)In-depth understanding of UK building regulations, CIBSE, and industry best practicesProven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and interface effectively with project teamsExcellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skillsRelevant CSCS, SMSTS or equivalent certification preferred
