An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Principal Telecoms Engineer to join a leading engineering project within the oil and gas sector. This role is based full-time in the Leatherhead office and will support a major onshore development project. The position focuses on delivering telecoms engineering packages from FEED through to execution. This role would suit an experienced Telecoms Engineer who has previously held a lead position on onshore FEED projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in telecoms systems design and integration, with hands-on experience in developing detailed engineering deliverables. Prior involvement with Aramco or Middle Eastern projects is highly advantageous. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of telecoms engineering deliverables across all design phasesPrepare and review technical documentation such as block diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, and layout drawingsEnsure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirementsConduct technical evaluations and specifications for systems including LAN/WAN, CCTV, PAGA, PABX, and wireless communicationsInterface with multi-disciplinary teams and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycleQualifications and Experience: If you have hands-on experience and have been responsible for developing deliverables on major FEED projects, particularly with any oil and gas or Middle Eastern backgroundOpportunity to work on a ..... full job details .....
