We are seeking a Finance Manager to play a crucial role in managing client finances and ensuring adherence to finance processes and controls. This position offers a blend of autonomy and support, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a lively and challenging environment. Day-to-day of the role: Ensure accurate and timely billing for clients in your portfolio, in line with agreed billing schedules and contractual agreements. Assist the credit controller in resolving aged debtor issues and support the wider billing team as needed. Reconcile all production costs and job-related expenses, ensuring all costs are recoverable from clients. Manage client PO cover before approval and commencement of work. Keep accrued income to a minimum through close involvement and regular meetings with Finance Business Partners, Management Accounting teams, and the Commercial team. Track production spend against budgets, highlighting potential overspends to relevant production teams. Promptly reconcile completed jobs with production teams, ensuring jobs are closed and any outstanding balances are correctly dealt with.
