Job title: Client Accountant Salary: Up to £45k Location: Remote working offered My client is looking for a Client Accountant who has strong Practice Experience with a strong understanding of the business cycle. Previous experience working with Xero is required. They are a really lovely company who do offer fully remote, but still hold a very sociable, collaborative and welcoming environment. Duties/ Qualifications: Managing a portfolio of clients, providing proactive tax and accounting advice Conduct a ''welcome call'' with new clients and complete a risk assessment upon client sign-up and annual AML risk assessment Reviewing work (accounts, Corp tax, VAT and SATRs) Experience reviewing work - Periodically review bookkeeping and collaborate with the bookkeeper to ensure accuracy. Conduct quarterly business review meetings with relevant clients and hold an Annual Accounts Review (AAR) Monitor the time spent by the team on each client and ensure invoicing aligns with the client''s revenue and time spent. Provide clear, practical Tax solutions to clients Liaise with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) on behalf of clients, handling inquiries and resolving tax-related issues.
