Job Title:          Trainee Finance Administrator          
Location:          Bishop’s Stortford
Salary:             £19,500 - £24,000 (depending on experience)          
Term:                Permanent
Hours:               8:30am – 5pm Monday - Friday

The Role of Trainee Finance Administrator:

• Keeping the database up to date
• Generating relevant documentation to send to clients
• Conducting background checks
• Collation of all compliance documents
• Updating client information
• Scanning and distribution of incoming post
• Answering the phone & filtering calls/sending telephone messages
• Meeting & greeting clients at office appointments

 
To be considered for the role of Trainee Finance Administrator:

• Have a professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills
• Proficient in the use of IT equipment and software packages including the Microsoft Office Suite
• Be able to prioritise workload and to meet deadlines
• A high level of numeracy skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills and can create well phrased and grammatically correct letters and emails to clients and providers.
• Ability to work effectively in both a team and independently
• Flexibility in attitude and approach
• High attention to detail
• Strict confidentiality and adherence to Data Protection protocols
• Confidence and initiative to take on responsibility
• Able to work without supervision whilst being comfortable asking questions to clarify understanding.

 
The Package for Trainee Finance Administrator:
Salary:  £19,500 - £24,000 (depending on experience)         
Hours:  Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm
Pension
23 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)
Death in Service critical illness cover
