Principal Consultant - PPP and Technical Advice at Arup. Arup is a leading adviser on PPP projects globally, recognised for delivering technical and commercial advice across infrastructure transactions.The Opportunity
Our UK team are international experts in PPP technical advisory, with projects across multiple countries. We are expanding our project base and are seeking individuals with PPP contracts experience to work with lenders, government organisations or concessionaires on predominantly transport PPP projects, with recent work in civil buildings and water projects.Responsibilities
Take a lead role on Lenders’ Technical Advisor, Government Technical Advisor or Concessionaire engagements.Provide technical advice on major PPP infrastructure projects, supported by technical specialists, and produce Due Diligence reports, PPP Feasibility reports and advice notes for lenders and their legal/financial advisors.Provide technical input and deliver project outputs in accordance with engagement terms; act as a technical specialist in relevant areas as required.Collaborate across Arup teams, mentoring and supporting colleagues.Assist with and prepare bids for new work.Manage client relationships and Arup PM tasks including invoicing.Requirements and Skills
Preferably professionally qualified with typically more than 10 years’ experience on infrastructure projects.Demonstrable technical knowledge across stages of infrastructure projects including operation and maintenance, in multiple disciplines.Proven track record of providing technical advice to clients on major infrastructure projects; knowledge/experience in:Construction contractsInfrastructure maintenance activitiesPerformance-based payment mechanisms; Asset managementDue Diligence and Feasibility reportingExperience liaising with multi-disciplinary teams is expected. Practical operation and maintenance experience is advantageous. A second language, self-motivation, enthusiasm and commitment to development are desirable.Contact and How to Apply
