Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias

We are looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias to work with a Mitie client to provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, covering electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant, and to deliver a reactive and proactive maintenance service as per project requirements to all operational equipment.Responsibilities

Carry out modifications and installations when required, and maintain, repair and calibrate electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant to optimise reliability and maintainability.Provide a service that ensures key performance indicators are met and liaise with contractors or external suppliers as required.Complete required paperwork and produce reports accurately and in a timely basis.Work to high standards in line with current company policies and procedures; report any deficiencies in systems of work or equipment that may affect service delivery, health and safety or the environment.Ensure own work and, where applicable, the work of those under supervision is carried out in a safe and diligent manner.Read and understand technical drawings; apply problem-solving and decision-making skills; communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.Present yourself professionally when dealing with high-level client stakeholders and building users.Work at height as required; PASMA training on site for mobile towers will be provided.Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) compliance; maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline)18th EditionAM2CSC Gold Card preferredGood knowledge of building statutory compliance5+ years'' experience as a qualified electricianHVAC experience preferableTraining may be provided to ensure competencyAbility to read technical drawings; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; good written and verbal communicationBenefits
