As a Management Accountant you will play a crucial role in ensuring the provision of a high-quality financial and management accounting service. You''ll be instrumental in supporting the effective and efficient management of our financial resources, all within statutory and regulatory guidelines. Working closely with the Finance team, you will contribute to accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, internal and external reporting, and the meticulous management of our balance sheet reconciliations.What You''ll Be Doing:Supporting the Financial Controller in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial records, ensuring income and liabilities are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reviewed.Assisting in the planning, preparation, and delivery of statutory reports, publications, internal and external audits, and associated financial accounts within agreed timelines.Preparing VAT Return workings and associated reconciliations.Processing and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, including timely depreciation journals.Processing, reconciling, and posting manual bank transactions, as well as contributing to regular cashflow forecasts.Taking ownership of the monthly close process, analysing transactions and preparing necessary journals to maintain accurate ledgers for both month-end and year-end.Processing prepayment and accrual journals, ensuring all ..... full job details .....
