The successful candidate will be a key member of the Commercial team, supporting site and contracts teams to ensure the profitable and efficient delivery of projects.Skills and Experience Required: Demonstrable experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a subcontractor environmentSound technical knowledge of brickwork, masonry, or closely related trades (preferred)Strong understanding of UK construction contracts Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation capabilities, with an eye for detail Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlinesStrong IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Packages, and construction accounts management software.Key Responsibilities:Preparing accurate tender and contract documents, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentationEnsuring on-going compliance with quality, safety and environmental objectives On-site measurement and measurement of drawings Perform risk, value management and cost control On-going cost analysis of maintenance and repair workIdentify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risksAnalysing sub-contractors'' quotationsAccurate preparation and agreement of variation accounts, interim valuations, and final accountsPreparing ..... full job details .....
