The Montcalm BreweryLondon City , a Grade II-listed former brewery near Moorgate, is poised fora transformative refurbishment, while the adjacent Montcalm BreweryTownhouse provides a boutique, residential-style retreat for long-stayguests and VIPs.OverviewMontcalm isseeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales to lead the commercial visionand sales performance across a distinctive cluster of luxury properties in EastLondon. With two hotels proudly part of (or soon joining) Marriott’sprestigious Autograph Collection, this role demands a seasoned sales leaderwith deep brand insight, strong alignment with Marriott standards, and aproactive drive in corporate and MICE segments. The ideal candidate will beinstrumental in cultivating business from key sectors including finance,technology, legal, and the creative industries, while elevating Montcalm’spresence as a refined and forward-thinking hospitality brand.Key Responsibilities·Developand execute a tailored commercial sales strategy across the City (East)cluster, with a strong focus on corporate, MICE, and (GDS) agency-drivenbusiness
·Lead,motivate, and support the sales team to meet revenue targets and account growthgoals
·Buildand maintain key relationships with corporates, TMCs, event planners, andglobal distribution partners
·Collaboratewith Revenue, Marketing, and Hotel Operations to align commercial activity withbrand positioning and profitability targets
·Activateand leverage Marriott Autograph Collection tools, systems, and distributionnetworks to drive qualified demand
·Represent the City (East) cluster at industryevents, trade shows, Marriott showcases, and internal commercial activations
·Playa central role in the repositioning and relaunch strategies for Montcalm RoyalLondon House and The Brewery
·Deliverregular sales reporting, market insights, and strategic recommendations tosupport commercial leadershipKey Attributes:·Proventrack record in senior hotel sales leadership, ideally within lifestyle,branded, or multi-property contexts·Strong commercial understanding of the City ofLondon and East London markets·Experiencedin leading high-performing teams and developing sales strategies that alignwith brand values and business goals·Familiaritywith Marriott systems, brand standards, and global account management processespreferred·Relationship-drivenand confident in engaging with corporate stakeholders, industry bodies, andbrand partners·Analytical,commercially focused, and collaborative – able to work cross-functionally todeliver shared success
