The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates across a range of projects.Working closely with project managers, commercial teams, suppliers, and subcontractors, the Estimator will play a key role in producing competitive and realistic tenders, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting the successful delivery of bids.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects from tender stage through to final submissionAnalyse drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and tender documentationMeasure and take off quantities from drawings and digital platformsObtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractorsBuild up rates, preliminaries, and cost plans in line with company standardsIdentify commercial risks, opportunities, and value engineering optionsLiaise with project managers, planners, and commercial teams to ensure buildable and realistic pricingAttend pre-tender meetings, site visits, and tender reviews as requiredEnsure tenders are submitted on time and in line with client requirementsMaintain estimating databases and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processesSkills and ..... full job details .....
