Our Client Havering Council is looking for a Team Manager to join their Children with Disabilities Team.Main duties:To provide leadership, management and professional guidance to a team of social workers and manage the development of skilled and confident practitioners.To ensure the delivery of high quality delivery of social work services which safeguard children, promote positive outcomes and are responsive, timely and within statutory guidelines.Be responsible for ensuring that the ensuring that the council meets its statutory obligations to safeguard children and promote their welfare by complying with legislation, policy and procedures and relevant frameworks.The role of the Team Manager is to provide leadership for the Practice Managers within their service.
