QA Engineer to join our collaborative team at Deskpro, a growing help desk software company. As an integral member of our engineering team, you''ll ensure the quality and functionality of our product through
manual testing
of stories and bug fixes,
automating
tests where appropriate,
championing
QA best practices, and working alongside developers to triage and resolve defects. You''ll also have exciting opportunities to grow your skills by contributing to our test automation efforts with Playwright, helping us maintain excellent testing standards whilst supporting our product''s continued development.Role and Responsibilities
As a QA Engineer, you will:Collaborate closely with scrum teams to manually test stories and bug fixes , ensuring each release meets our high quality standards.Champion QA best practices during scrum meetings and refinements , working with the team to define clear testing requirements and share knowledge across disciplines.Partner with developers in triaging and reproducing defects , contributing to swift issue identification and resolution.Execute regression and smoke tests
during release cycles and as needed, helping maintain system stability and reliability.Contribute to our automation strategy by converting exploratory tests into Playwright automation (JS/TS) , expanding our test coverage whilst developing your technical skills.
