THE ROLE
As a Sales Controller, you''ll work closely with the Sales Manager and wider sales team to maximise sales performance, profitability and finance penetration while ensuring customers receive a first-class experience.
Key responsibilities include:
·Controlling and stacking deals to maximise profitability
·Supporting the sales team throughout the complete sales process
·Working directly with customers to understand their requirements and close sales
·Achieving team targets across sold units, profitability and finance
·Carrying out part-exchange vehicle appraisals
·Presenting finance and insurance products in line with FCA requirements
·Ensuring all sales activity is compliant with company, manufacturer and legislative standards
·Maintaining excellent product knowledge
·Supporting and developing Sales Executives where required
·Ensuring every customer receives an exceptional buying experience
·Identifying opportunities to maximise additional sales and finance performance
 
ABOUT YOU
We''re looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
·Previous experience as a Business Manager, Transaction Manager, Sales Controller or similar automotive sales role
·Strong experience controlling and stacking deals
·Previous experience within a franchised main dealership
·Strong understanding of automotive finance and insurance products
·Good knowledge of FCA compliance requirements
·Proven ability to achieve sales, profitability and finance targets
·Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
·A confident and commercially focused approach
·Strong customer service skills
·Ambition to progress into further senior sales management
·Full UK Driving Licence
