Role:
Quality And Environmental ManagerKey Responsibilities
Coordinating a robust Quality and Environmental Management System by supporting site and office teams to ensure compliance with the Company current QandE policies and proceduresFormulating and managing the development and implementation of KPI''s, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to Quality and Environmental systems, aligning with the Company’s Integrated Management SystemImbedding the Procore platform across the company by training to become a Super User and providing ongoing training to new and existing employeesUndertaking regular audits of the QandE systems and procedures with site visits to ensure a consistent approach across all sitesInterfacing with external auditors for the maintenance and upgrading of ISO systemsUndertaking regular audits of the Procore system to ensure consistency across all sitesDeveloping strong relationships across the company to embed policies and requirements into day-to-day businessMaintaining consistency of Quality and Environmental standards across sites and offices by upskilling employees and promoting continuous improvementMaintaining and improving ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications and identifying additional systems that would benefit the companyEnsuring QandE procedures integrate with ISO 45001 Safety Management System through regular coordination with Company Safety PersonnelResearching and developing Quality Plans and Waste Management templates and providing upskilling to staff as neededCarrying out site visits and inspection reports related to Environmental and Quality performance, and reporting to Senior ManagementMonitoring the closeout of QandE observations/nonconformance issues and defects in systemsProviding weekly progress reports and feedback to Senior ManagementSupplying feedback and input on processes and KPI’s for PQQs and tender submissions when requiredDocument control for Environmental topics related to ongoing projectsOther ad hoc duties as required by the CompanyYou will need
A degree in Construction Engineering/Construction Management or similarGood understanding of the lifecycle of a large construction project, ideally with a Main ContractorExcellent IT skills with knowledge of construction engineering technologyGood interpersonal skills, self-motivated and approachableOrganised and able to prioritiseAble to work on own initiative and as part of a teamA genuine interest in and understanding of quality and environmental issuesProven ability to provide support, guidance and training when neededStrong evidence of delivering resultsHands-on, able to work in detail and also take a strategic overviewWilling to learn new techniques and take on additional projectsSeniority level
