Estimator (Roofing and Cladding) Location: Office-based (Full-Time)Salary: £60,000 £75,000 (depending on experience)Overview Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Estimator to join their team. This role requires a strong background in roofing and cladding, with a proven ability to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for building envelope projects. You will play a key role in securing new business and supporting project success from tender stage through to handover.Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and tenders for roofing and cladding projectsReview drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to assess project requirementsCarry out material take-offs and pricing exercisesLiaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotationsAnalyse project risks, opportunities, and value engineering optionsCollaborate with internal teams including design, commercial, and operationsAttend pre- and post-tender meetings as requiredMaintain and update cost databases and pricing toolsEnsure all estimates are completed accurately and within deadlines Requirements Proven experience as an Estimator within roofing and cladding (essential)Strong knowledge of building envelope systems, materials, and installation methodsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsExcellent numerical and analytical skillsStrong commercial awareness and attention to detailProficiency in estimating software and ..... full job details .....
