Learning Support Assistant
Location: Nottingham (NG9)
Salary: -95 - -100 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Long-term with potential to permanent
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term-time only)

Long Term Futures are currently looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join a well-regarded secondary school in the NG9 area of Nottingham. This Ofsted-rated ''Good'' school is known for its inclusive values and strong community feel, creating an environment where every student is supported to succeed.

This full-time role begins in September 2025 and will involve working closely with young people aged 11-16, providing support to students with special educational needs.

What You''ll Be Doing

• Delivering 1:1 and small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
• Helping students remain focused, engaged and confident in the classroom
• Promoting positive behaviour and supporting emotional wellbeing
• Working alongside teachers and SEN staff to implement personalised support strategies
• Playing an active role in creating a nurturing, supportive learning environment

What We''re Looking For

• Experience working with young people with SEN, either in schools or a similar setting
• A calm, flexible, and empathetic approach to managing behaviour and supporting learning
• Great communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to reach their potential
