Role OverviewManage all IT day-to-day queries, working in partnership with the MSP service desk and Head of IT to support 200+ users and contractors. To maintain and monitor IT systems, servers and understand and resolve technical issues in a prompt and professional manner.

Key Accountabilities
Provide 1st/ 2nd line end user software or hardware queries via email, phone, or face to face
Own issues autonomously, fixing and delivering outcome to staff, maintaining relationships
Site IT first aid
Managing Site IT asset inventory and setups
Work with IT team to ensure any recurring technical issues are addressed and long-term fixes are implemented
Update tracking, ensuring calls have been logged and categorised accurately to provide reporting
Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems through Microsoft Endpoint Manager or manually as required
Repair and replace damaged computer and network components
Enforcing security best practices to prevent cyber-attacks and security breaches
Maintenance to server environment
Build knowledge base to help support issues for future
Run training and user adoption and build documentation to assist with user self-service
Own new starters, hardware replacements, leavers, and contractor equipment
Active Directory administration, new user setups (User Accounts, M365 Mailboxes)
Support Head of IT with roadmap and projects, utilising Microsoft stack and Jira
Identify and implement new strategies for optimal computer system operations
Refine documentation around tracking and process management
Perform other miscellaneous duties as required
Required Skills and Attributes
At least 1-3 years general experience in an IT role
Good understanding and experience with Windows Server environment
Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager
Strong knowledge of Windows 10 / 11
Strong communication at all levels and excellent people skills
Work well under pressure in fast paced environments
Ability to quickly learn new applications and technologies
Experience with remote support tools
A good understanding of ticket management and a positive approach to support
Willingness to learn and identify inefficiencies within responsibilities
Basic / Fundamental networking knowledge
Personal Attributes

Willingness to travel to other company sites
