Overview My Client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to building refurbishment projects, from e.g. £5k repairs to £4m major works schemes, ensuring that they are completed within budget and to expected profit margins. This role requires a strong understanding of cost control and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Senior Quantity Surveyor - Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, considering all aspects of construction and materials. Monitor project expenditures and provide regular reports on financial performance. Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of new projects. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met. Manage procurement processes, including tendering and contract negotiations. Implement effective cost control measures to optimise project budgets. Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions related to projects. Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes as necessary. Senior Quantity Surveyor - Qualifications A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is essential.
