Mitie Cleaning and Hygiene ServicesWe are looking for an experienced Mobile Multi-skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias to work on our SWR contract which provides a multi-skilled maintenance service covering electrical and mechanical disciplines, providing reactive and pro-active maintenance per project requirements to all operational equipment.You will be responsible for carrying out modifications and installations when required, maintaining, repairing, and calibrating electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant to optimize reliability and maintainability. You will provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met and liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required. You will also need to complete any required paperwork, produce reports accurately and on a timely basis.You should carry out your work to high standards in line with current company policies and procedures and report any deficiencies in systems of work or equipment that may impact service delivery, health and safety, or the environment. You will be responsible for ensuring your own work and that of those under your supervision is completed safely and diligently.The ideal candidate would have up-to-date training such as NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline) and good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance. They will need to be responsible for themselves and others to maintain a safe working environment as per the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974). They should be able to read and understand technical drawings, have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.Suitable training may be provided when needed to ensure the candidate is competent to achieve the required skills.
