Home Counties based. Will train on EPlan! Ref: 21745 Electrical Design Engineer The Role: Conceptual, detailed design and development of machinery Design of control systems such as variable speed drives, PLC and field bus systems Convert written specification to a complete design including schematic drawings and a complete bill of materials within the company ERP system Design for manufacture and assembly Liaising with suppliers on bought out components and with other departments Development of test plans and procedures Lead or support contractural and development projects to aggressive timescales and budget Electrical Design Engineer The Person: EPlan or AutoCAD skills would be ideal with experience of safety standards and EMC requirements An understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics would be highly advantageous HND or Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering with a thorough understanding of engineering principals including electrical circuit diagrams and symbols Good communication skills and a positive attitude to team work along with a flair for problem solving and a flexible approach Located in Home Counties, this role would be commutable from Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton, Stevenage, Luton, Hemel Hempstead, Bicester, Banbury and ..... full job details .....
