Our client, a respected consultancy in the construction and built environment sector, is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join its team on a permanent basis. Working 35 hours per week, the role offers the opportunity to develop practical experience in structural engineering, structural design and civil engineering while supporting projects from design through to delivery.Key Responsibilities:Assist with technical calculations, structural modelling and design activitiesSupport the preparation and issue of technical drawings, specifications and schedulesAssist with risk assessments and RIBA design stage reportsLiaise with the wider Design Team to obtain information required for project deliveryAttend project meetings, in-house project reviews and site surveys alongside senior team membersAssist with the technical review of third-party design informationSupport project administration, filing and the maintenance of accurate technical recordsMaintain a high standard of quality across all information and design outputJob Requirements:Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering, such as a BEng, BEng (Hons) or BScUnderstanding of building construction and the principles of structural designAwareness of the role and responsibilities of structural and civil engineers within construction projectsAwareness of Design Team members and their respective dutiesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsGood interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ..... full job details .....
