Job DescriptionRole Purpose

The Finance Manager - Business Partnering plays a critical role in delivering financial clarity, insight, and strategic support to business decisions across the client.

The role involves evaluating options, providing constructive challenge, quantifying trade-offs, and enabling the delivery of long-term value.

You will act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, ensuring that all financial decisions are underpinned by robust analysis, sound governance, and alignment with shareholder and regulatory expectations.

This role requires sophisticated stakeholder management, financial modelling expertise, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and impactful way.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver financial targets by minimising risk and maximising value to the PandL.

Lead effective budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes with stakeholder buy-in.

Report on financial performance, providing insights into results, risks, and future outlook.

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring finance oversight on all key decisions.

Develop and evaluate value-adding business cases to support investment and strategic initiatives.

Support governance and minimise financial and operational risk to the business.

Stakeholder Engagement

The Finance Manager will partner with:

Commercial and Operations functions

Strategy and Solutions

Airlines, suppliers, and concessionaires

Trade Unions

The Executive Committee, Shareholders, and The Board

External regulators including the Civil Aviation Authority

Qualifications and Experience

Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or part-qualified with extensive QBE experience.

Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.

Commercially minded with the ability to influence and challenge decision-making.

Proven ability to work with and influence non-finance colleagues.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Previous line management experience preferred.
