Senior Data Scientist job opportunity at Sky. We are building live sports experiences with an AI-driven platform to be more immersive and personalised for fans across devices. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will work within a specialised machine learning team to build cutting-edge capabilities of the AI-driven platform.What you''ll do

The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions to deliver new innovative sports-focused products to our significant customer base of sports fans. You will identify trends in large datasets and develop models to predict future outcomes. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure insights are effectively communicated and implemented.Responsibilities

Develop predictive models using advanced statistical techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, etc.Analyze large datasets to uncover patterns and relationships between variables.Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to understand needs and develop data-driven solutions.Own the full lifecycle of ML solutions – design, deploy, and maintain models in production.Monitor performance of existing models and adjust parameters for optimal results.Stay up-to-date on industry trends to recommend new approaches.Build and integrate cloud-native components to expose models as scalable endpoints and publish inference results as events for downstream systems.Establish and maintain robust MLOps practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, retraining, and automated testing.Mentor and guide junior data scientists and engineers on productionising machine learning.What you''ll bring

A collaborative mindset to work across disciplines and contribute creativelyUnderstanding of large language and multi-modal modelsExperience in Python, Docker, and cloud-based environments (ideally AWS)Strong background in data analysis and machine learning with 3+ years building end-to-end ML systemsAWS Machine Learning Certification desirableExperience using Infrastructure-as-Code to deploy ML solutions on AWSThe rewards
