Early Years Teacher - Enfield

Remedy Education are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join a welcoming setting based in Enfield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Early Years Teacher with strong EYFS experience who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs. The school is looking for someone who can create a nurturing, engaging and stimulating learning environment while helping children develop their communication, confidence, independence and social skills.

Role Details:

Position: Early Years Teacher
Location: Enfield, North London
Start Date: September
Pay: -200250 per day, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, Part-time or Contract
School Type: Specialist SEN / Early Years Setting

The Role:

As an Early Years SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative and age-appropriate EYFS learning activities
  • Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support children with a range of additional and special educational needs
  • Use play-based and structured learning to encourage communication, curiosity and independence
  • Adapt activities and teaching approaches to meet individual children''s needs
  • Monitor progress through observation and assessment and use this to inform planning
  • Support children''s social, emotional, physical and educational development
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other members of the SEN team
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children and understand their individual needs
  • Maintain clear routines and promote positive behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers and other professionals where appropriate

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate Early Years teaching qualification
  • Strong experience working within an EYFS setting
  • Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable
  • A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • Confidence adapting learning to meet individual needs
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A calm, patient, nurturing and positive approach
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a wider team
  • A genuine passion for supporting children to reach their potential
