Financial Accountant 6 month FTC Asset Management London Your new company This company is a leading banking group in Europe that focusses on creating sustainable investment returns for their clients, seeking a financial accountant to work within their asset management teamYour new role The client is seeking a proactive and considerate experienced accountant to join their Asset Management team, reporting to the CFO of the UK entities. Key responsibilities include:Assisting with preparation of month-end cost reporting for the UK, including input to budget packs with detailed sub-divisional variance analysisPrepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Manage and analyse Profit and Loss statements to provide insights on financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and drive profitability improvements.Assisting with ad hoc queries from the Finance team as well as other key stakeholders.Support internal and external audit processes.Processing invoices and journal entries as required.What you''ll need to succeed Must be part-qualifiedPrior experience working in Financial Services, Asset Management or Investment Banking environment is essentialDriven to improve performance to deliver to a high standard, outperform competitors and create strong relationships with internal stakeholdersDetail-oriented with the ability to work under ..... full job details .....
