Chef de Partie Year-round employmentResponsibilitiesManage food standards and quality across all stages of food preparation, cooking and service, ensuring our high company standards are consistently metManage the smooth running of your section before, during and after serviceHave a complete understanding of all menus within your area of responsibility, ensuring that all recipes are followed accurately, portion control is adhered to and that presentation.Work alongside the Head Chef and team to create and develop daily specials, presenting ideas for new dishes on a regular basis, along with recipes and specification for each dishAssist in the training and development of junior chefsEnsure stock rotation carried out correctly and wastage recordedAdhere to HACCP/COSHH standardsMaintain high levels of CLEANLILNESS at all times.Participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performanceWear clean, suitable uniform at all times and ensure a high level of personal hygiene and groomingObserve all requirements under Health and Safety regulationsRequirements1 year experience and service in a busy restaurantExcellent attention to detailExcellent coordination skillsAbility to work well as part of a teamMust be available to work at weekends, and Bank Holidays40 -45 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, on a shift pattern.Salary depends on experience and after 3 months'' probationMust be available to interview in person.Job Type: Full-timePay: ..... full job details .....
