We are working with a leading international manufacturer who are seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong costing and manufacturing experience to play a key role in supporting operations and driving financial performance.

The RoleResponsible for preparing and analysing manufacturing-related costs, monitoring variances, and supporting month-end close and management reporting. The role will partner closely with operations, IT, and materials teams, ensuring accurate accounting treatments and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly management accounts to strict deadlinesPartnering with operational teams, providing analysis and insight to support business decision-makingProducing regular management information, variance analysis, and commentary on operational performanceAnalysing purchase price and material variances, reporting findings to the business and wider finance teamCompleting raw material and WIP reconciliations and ensuring ERP data integrityForecasting operational variances, including purchase price and material usageReviewing and reconciling manufacturing stock movements and intercompany material invoicesSupporting year-end updates to standard costs and providing costing scenarios/quotationsAssisting with audits and ad hoc projects as requiredAbout YouQualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA)Strong experience in costing within a manufacturing environmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to improvementAdvanced Excel skills and working knowledge of ERP systemsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively across functions
