The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting children’s early development within a safe, engaging and supportive environment.

You will:

• Support children aged 0–5 in line with the EYFS framework

• Build positive and trusting relationships with children, colleagues and parents

• Take on key worker responsibilities where appropriate

• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities

• Carry out observations and contribute to children’s development records

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is:

• Qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent)

• Experienced within a nursery or early years setting

• Confident in working with the EYFS framework

• Warm, caring and reliable in their approach

• In possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)

• Paediatric First Aid trained (desirable but not essential)
