Air Conditioning Engineer – London – 40 - 50K

Location: Mobile – Ideal Engineer being based in London – Covering Central and Greater London.
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client is a rapidly growing FM provider offering a full range of services and have a new opportunity for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join their maintenance and reactive division.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to take on a mobile role covering a well-organised London patch. You’ll be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and minor installations on a range of air conditioning and ventilation systems across commercial office space, retail, hospitality, and light commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Service, repair, and maintain a variety of air conditioning systems (split systems, VRV/VRF, multi-split, AHUs, FCUs, etc.)
Fault-finding and diagnostics
Occasional minor installation works
Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant health and safety and compliance standards
Keep accurate records using PDA and company systems
Deliver a high standard of customer service and represent the company professionally on-site
Participate in the 1-in-4 call-out rota

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in commercial air conditioning maintenance and repair
Valid F-Gas qualification – essential
Relevant AC qualifications and manufacturer training – advantageous
Basic electrical knowledge
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently
Full UK Driving Licence

Salary and Package

- £40,000 – £50,000 basic (depending on experience and skill level)
- Your total weekly hours are calculated on a door-to-door basis minus one hour each day for travel. Should your weekly hours exceed 50 hours (door-to-door) any additional hours worked will be paid at 1.5 of your normal hourly rate
- Paid travel beyond 1 hour at 1.5x rate
