Experienced Brake Press Setter / Operator

• The company makes bespoke stainless-steel fabrications for the pharmaceutical industry.
• They are based in Tyseley, Birmingham.
• This is permanent job.

Duties as a Brake Press Setter/Operator:

• Make one off components from stainless steel 1mm to 3mm thick, occasionally 5mm.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to manufacture the component.
• Set up and operate Amada CNC brake press machine.
• Make tool changes and adjust machine settings for specific jobs.

Brake Press Setter/Operator Hours of work:

• Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm
• Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm.

Brake Press Setter/Operator Pay

• Commencing on £14.00 to £15.70 per hour dependent on experience.
• This works out to £546 to £613 per week gross plus overtime.

Brake Press Setter/Operator Overtime:

• Currently working 1 hour a day overtime from 6.30am paid at 1.5 with potentially 4 hours on Saturday.
