Overview

My Redditch based client is seeking a skilled Power Press Setter Operator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be capable to change and set a range of press tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain power press machinery, (Mechanical & or Hyraulic/Pneumatic)
• Must have the ability to read and understand engineering, tooling component drawings.
• Previous experience of setting and Operating Power Presses.
• Ability to book manufactured components & inspection data onto paperwork supplied.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Power Press Setter/ Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Familiarity with tooling and fabrication processes is advantageous.
• Competence in using hand tools and measuring instruments accurately.
• Basic maths skills are essential for performing calculations related to production tasks.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Hours

• Monday-Thursday
• 39 hours between 6am-5:15pm.
• Permanent position
• -13.5014.50
