Senior Highways Engineer An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Highways Engineer to join a growing highways engineering team in London. This role is ideal for someone with around 6-9 years'' experience who is looking to take ownership of projects while working within a collaborative and supportive environment. You''ll play a key role in delivering highway infrastructure projects across a diverse portfolio of developments, working with a broad range of private sector clients including developers, landowners, housebuilders, retailers, universities, healthcare providers and contractors. Key Responsibilities Deliver highway design projects from concept through to construction. Design highway schemes in accordance with DMRB, Manual for Streets 1 and 2, LTN 1/20 and local authority design standards. Produce engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Prepare technical reports, calculations and design documentation. Manage and coordinate Section 278 and Section 38 highway schemes. Review utility diversions associated with highway works. Apply CDM Regulations 2015 throughout project delivery. Work collaboratively with transport planners, engineers and technicians to deliver integrated solutions.
