The Role

As Operations Manager, you will work closely with the senior leadership team to oversee the day-to-day running of the business, optimise operational processes, and ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

You''ll be responsible for driving efficiency across departments, improving workflows, and ensuring the business has the operational foundations to support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities across multiple business functions.
• Develop, implement and refine operational processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor business performance through KPIs, reporting and operational metrics.
• Lead, mentor and develop operational teams to achieve company objectives.
• Coordinate internal resources to ensure customer projects and service commitments are delivered successfully.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Technical, Service Delivery and Customer Success teams.
• Identify opportunities for automation, innovation and continuous operational improvement.
• Assist with forecasting, resource planning and operational budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and industry best practice.
• Support senior leadership with strategic planning and business improvement initiatives.

About You

We''re looking for a proactive and highly organised Operations Manager with strong leadership skills and a passion for improving processes within a technology-focused business.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in an Operations Manager, Senior Operations or similar leadership role.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Proven experience leading, motivating and developing teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with experience producing operational reports and KPI analysis.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management systems.
• Previous experience within an IT Services, Managed Service Provider (MSP), technology or technical services environment is highly desirable.

Desirable

• Experience leading operational improvement or business transformation projects.
• Understanding of managed service delivery or technical operations.
• Knowledge of ISO standards or quality management systems.
• Prince2, Lean, Six Sigma or similar operational improvement qualifications.
