Soho House Manchester
Located in the St John''s area in the heart of the city, Soho House Manchester spans across 5 floors of the former Granada Studios. We have an extensive gym, steam room and sauna, outdoor rooftop pool surrounded by sunbed and a bar, late night bar and live music space. We have casual lounge areas for food and drink on the 8th floor and a members'' restaurant for more formal dining. The house also includes 23 bedrooms on the 6th floor.
The Role...
As Sous Chef, your duties will include recruiting and training new employees, adhering to allergy procedure and food preferences as well as working with the Executive and Head Chef on developing new menu options. Working alongside the Head Chef, you will be the driving force behind the food offering making sure it is seasonal, relevant and appealing to our members and guests. You will have an in-depth health and safety knowledge ensuring that standards are kept in line with HACCP.

Physical Requirements:Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by handAble to work on your feet for at least 8 hoursOccasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
Expected working hours for a Sous Chef:Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens and closesAverage hours 45 hours per week
