Senior Quantity Surveyor – Consultancy (Oxford) Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Experience Level: Senior (5+ years)About the Role

We are seeking experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to join our established consultancy team in Oxford. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering cost management and contract administration services across a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial, residential, education, and public sector schemes. This position offers the opportunity to work with prestigious clients, mentor junior staff, and progress towards Associate/Director level within the practice.Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of pre- and post-contract cost management services.Prepare feasibility studies, cost estimates, cost planning, and value engineering.Manage procurement, tendering, and contract administration (JCT/NEC).Undertake risk management, financial reporting, and final accounts.Provide strategic cost advice to clients and stakeholders.Mentor and support junior surveyors and APC candidates.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to business growth.Requirements

MRICS qualification is essential (Chartered Quantity Surveyor).Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in a consultancy environment.Strong knowledge of construction contracts, particularly JCT and NEC.Proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion.Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.Ability to lead teams and manage workloads effectively.Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.What We Offer
