Job OverviewWe are a small privately owned early years setting seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children aged 0-5 years. You will play a crucial role in supporting their learning, social skills, and emotional well-being.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the individual needs of each child.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.

Support children''s physical, emotional, and social development through play-based learning.

Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their child''s progress and well-being.

Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational programme that meets the standards of early years education.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive interactions among children and adults.

Keep accurate records of children''s development and progress in line with regulatory requirements.

Experience and Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.

Must have Early Years qualification in Early Childhood Education at level 3 or above.

Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support fellow educators.

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Experience in driving may be beneficial for transporting children or resources as required.
