Location: Woodfield Court, Violet Hill Road, Stowmarket, IP14 1AT Position: Care Home Cook (Agency) Hours: Flexible shifts available (daytime hours, including weekends) Pay: £16- £17 per hour (paid weekly) entitled to Holiday pay Responsibilities: Prepare and cook nutritious, home-style meals for residents. Cater to individual dietary needs and allergies. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene. Work in line with care home policies and food safety regulations Collaborate with care staff to ensure meal satisfaction. Requirements: Previous experience as a Cook in a care home or similar setting Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher) required. Knowledge of special dietary needs (e.g., diabetic, pureed diets) Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one. Ability to work independently and manage a kitchen efficiently.
