Bell Lax Solicitors are a growing company and due to this growth, we are looking to expand our team of Solicitors.A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor based in our Edgware office within our Conveyancing Department. The Conveyancing Department enjoys a high volume and variety of instructions from clients and business throughout England and Wales.No day is the same in our Conveyancing Department and we are looking for someone who is proactive, strives to work in a fast-paced environment and is not afraid of a being an integral part of the business.Responsibilities

The role will include, but is not limited to, the following duties:Corresponding with clients via telephone, email and letters in a polite and timely mannerCorresponding with third parties via telephone, email and letters in a polite and timely mannerMeeting with clients and providing adviceOverseeing ongoing Conveyancing matter and assisting with file managementWorking with other Conveyancers and Secretaries to ensure the progression of mattersManaging and prioritising own workloadMeeting required deadlinesReviewing instructions and title registersReviewing documents provided by clients and third partiesProducing and amending the relevant documentsComplying with AML Regulations and completing ID checksSubmitting documents to the Land RegistryDealing with requisitions when raisedRaising invoices for work carried outEstablishing relationships with third parties and helping the business growYou will need

The ability to work well within a team as well as independently. It is also important to have a keen eye for detail, a willingness to learn and to be an integral member of the team. You need to be confident communicating verbally and in writing with a variety of clients and businesses.Job Details
