They are seeking an experienced programmer who shares their passion for engineering excellence.CNC Setter Operator/ Coventry/ Engineering/ Permanent Benefits: Day regularSalary negotiable Key Responsibilities: Perform machine setup and tooling selection to ensure efficient production runs.Operate multiple CNC machines, including loading materials, setting tools, and running production jobs.Conduct toolpath simulations and make necessary adjustments to optimise cycle times and ensure accuracy.Alter machine datums as required.Report issues encountered during setup and provide feedback on program efficiency.Assist in identifying any requirements for tooling or equipment that need replacing.Ensure all parts are inspected correctly, including first-off inspections.Ensure all completed works orders are signed off correctly.Provide feedback on the progress of projects, orders, and any escalations.Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to maintain productivity and quality.Troubleshoot machining issues to minimise downtime and improve overall efficiency.
