Management Accountant Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will be a key member of the Finance team, supporting the delivery of accurate financial reporting and analysis across the business. The role will focus on assisting with the preparation of management accounts, maintaining robust financial controls, and providing insight to support operational and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring reporting deadlines are achieved. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve any outstanding reconciling items. Prepare and review month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments, while analysing performance against budgets and forecasts. Produce regular financial reports, identifying key trends, variances, and areas requiring further investigation. Support the budgeting and forecasting process through financial analysis and reporting. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure reconciliations are completed in a timely manner. Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to support business initiatives and operational decisions. Work closely with stakeholders across different departments, providing financial support and commercial insight.
