This is a hands on opportunity and the company have experienced significant growth. The business is looking for someone to take ownership of the day-to-day accounts across a number of entities. The role offers exposure to management accounts, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, VAT, cash flow and process improvement. Must have used XERO Duties include: Managing the day-to-day accounts across multiple group companies using Xero. Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports. Maintaining accurate sales and purchase ledgers. Performing bank, supplier, customer and intercompany reconciliations. Managing intercompany transactions and multi-company accounting. Preparing and submitting VAT returns. Posting journals, accruals and prepayments. Overseeing credit control and debtor management. Managing supplier payments and cash flow requirements. Supporting payroll processes and year-end accounting activities. Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. Maintaining strong financial controls and compliance procedures. Identifying opportunities to improve systems, reporting and finance processes.
