Job Advertisement: Primary Reception Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: East Grinstead
Contract: Maternity Cover (September andndash; December 2025)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school in East Grinstead. This is a fantastic opportunity to cover a maternity leave from September to December.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Teach and support Reception-aged children in a warm, engaging classroom environment.

• 
  

  Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that meet the needs of individual children.

• 
  

  Monitor and assess children''s progress, providing feedback to parents and staff.

• 
  

  Work collaboratively with a team of teaching assistants and other staff members.

Ideal Candidate:

• 
  

  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• 
  

  Experience teaching in a primary school, particularly within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• 
  

  A passion for working with young children and fostering their development.

• 
  

  Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
