We are seeking compassionate, resilient, and committed Residential Support Workers to join a specialist children''s home in Leyland supporting young people aged 6 to 16 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Many of the young people we support have experienced trauma, adversity, and disrupted attachments, and need caring adults who can provide stability, consistency, and positive role modelling. This is a challenging yet highly rewarding role where every day provides an opportunity to make a meaningful difference to a young person''s future. Additional Responsibilities Support children and young people with EBD and complex emotional needs. Use therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches to build positive relationships. Manage challenging behaviours safely and effectively using de-escalation techniques. Assist young people in developing emotional regulation and coping strategies. Promote positive routines, boundaries, and expectations within the home.
