With new projects starting in London, they are recruiting for an Assistant Site Engineer.As an Assistant Site Engineer you will help manage the technical, safety, and daily setting-out operations for RC Frame and sub-structure construction.Key ResponsibilitiesSetting Out: Using surveying equipment to mark lines, levels, and coordinates for foundations, drainage, and concrete slabs.Quality Assurance (QA): Inspecting completed works, conducting concrete cube testing, and keeping accurate quality records.Technical Queries: Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, then flagging design discrepancies to senior engineers.Subcontractor Liaison: Coordinating with groundwork gangs and suppliersRequirements and QualificationsA degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.A valid CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is essential; SSSTS or SMSTS is often preferred.Must have a minimum 6 - 12 months practical setting-out experienceBasic CAD knowledge, and familiarity with surveying instruments.Experience on RC Frame, groundworks and sub-structure projects would be an advantageAbout UsWe are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
