Pre-Commissioning Engineer Location: London, UK Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 + Company Van + Benefits About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and proactive Pre-Commissioning Engineer to join our expanding Water Treatment division based in London. This is a key role for a motivated individual with a background in water treatment, mechanical pre-commissioning, and system flushing who wants to be part of a fast-growing, technically strong team.You will be responsible for preparing new and existing water systems for operation, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with current water hygiene and building standards before handover.Key Responsibilities Perform pre-commissioning cleaning of closed water systems (LTHW, CHW) including dynamic flushing, biocide dosing, and chemical cleaningCarry out system chlorination and disinfection in line with BS 8558 and ACOP L8 guidelinesTake water samples and interpret results to ensure quality and compliancePrepare pre-commissioning reports and flushing logsRead and interpret mechanical drawings, flushing schematics, and system designsLiaise with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to coordinate works on-siteEnsure all activities are carried out safely and in line with RAMS and industry standards Requirements Proven experience in pre-commissioning cleaning and water treatment of closed loop and domestic systemsKnowledge of BSRIA BG29, BG50, and BS 8558 standardsValid CSCS/ECS card and relevant site safety qualificationsExcellent ..... full job details .....
