Proactive Global currently is looking for a Mechanical Assembler Supervisor to join one of our customers based in Slough - SL1.

• Croydon-CR4

Your daily duties will include:

• Lead and manage the mechanical assembly team, providing hands-on support during peak periods or to resolve issues.
• Use data and production metrics to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
• Ensure all assembly processes comply with company standards and safety regulations.
• Develop, coach, and mentor team members to improve skills and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to optimize assembly processes.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and safety documentation and reports.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Ensure a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly with a strong track record in supervisory or team lead roles.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse production metrics and implement actionable solutions.
• Hands-on approach with the flexibility to assist the team on the floor as needed.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in manufacturing environments.
• Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship preferred.
