Senior Communications SpecialistIntroduction

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Communications Specialist to join Expedia’s B2B Communications team. In this role, you’ll create high-impact messaging — translating complex business updates into clear, compelling communications that are critical to helping our Partner succeed. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, from creation to execution, you’ll own the communications workstream delivering messages that are clear, concise, informative and that reinforce our brand reputation in a trusted marketplace.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your communications expertise in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment where clarity and consistency are key.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Product, Legal, and Compliance—to ensure all customer-facing communications are clear, cohesive, aligned with business goals and adhere to brand standards.

Create clear, concise, and well-structured communications, including policy updates, procedures, guidelines, and Partner notifications.

Write, edit, and publish communications and content for our global Partner audiences with distribution across digital platforms.

Execute communication projects in alignment with timelines, task prioritization, and stakeholder coordination.

Ensure all communications align with Expedia’s brand voice, tone, and visual identity, and are optimized for usability and discoverability.

Leverage data and customer feedback to evaluate communication effectiveness and continuously improve communication strategy. Familiarity with performance metrics and data-driven decision-making.

Experience and Qualifications

Skilled in writing for digital platforms, localization, and self-service environments.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, globally distributed organization.

Experienced in managing multiple projects with minimal oversight.

A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Able to work independently, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines.

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience in communications or technical writing.
