Our client has a full-time vacancy for a Legal Secretary to provide an efficient secretarial service to Solicitors within the Commercial Property department. You will require previous commercial conveyancing experience and good audio-typing skills.The role:Joining a busy and friendly commercial property teamOpening new files to include sending initial letters to client and obtaining money on accountUndertaking anti-money laundering searches and completing compliance documentation accordinglyGeneral administration duties such as filing, sending faxes, emails, closing files etc.Undertaking searchesCompletion of SDLT and other forms at the direction of a solicitorCompletion of accounts paperwork for monies received and monies outTypingTaking telephone calls from clients, agents and third-party solicitors and providing appropriate updates where necessaryAssisting with the paperwork/processes for completionSending post completion letters to relevant partiesAssisting with general office administration including Reception on a rota basisRequirements:have a background as a secretary working in a property department, preferably commercial propertybe familiar with general processes relating to leasehold and commercial property transactions and will be familiar with the terminology usedbe confident and capable when meeting clients face to face who drop into the office from time to time to collect or deliver paperworkhave a confident telephone mannerwill have good organisational and ..... full job details .....
