A client within the Public Sector, based in Greater Manchester, is currently recruiting for an NEC4 Site Supervisor to join their Highways and Engineering Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority highways / civil engineering environment.The RoleKey purpose of the role:To provide professional NEC4 site supervision services across highways and infrastructure schemes, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual, quality, time, and cost requirements.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Delivering NEC3/NEC4 site supervision in compliance with contractual requirements and specificationsManaging day-to-day site activities, record keeping, and monitoring construction programmesSupervising contractors, consultants, and other external stakeholders on siteCoordinating with internal council services, third parties, and the public to ensure effective deliveryEnsuring compliance with health and safety legislation, CDM regulations, and council policies The CandidateTo be considered for this role you will require two to three essential qualifications / knowledge areas, including: Extensive working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts in a site supervision contextStrong understanding of highways construction and civil engineering schemesKnowledge of public sector project governance and assurance ..... full job details .....
